Panera!

Well, now we don't need to move to Troy, OH!* San Luis Obispo is getting a Panera in late Feb.-early March.

I forgot to post the picture of the Asian pigeon with the cool "hair" (from our zoo trip). Bob went to Lompoc today to watch the big Delta rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB. Here's a picture of the con trail.
And, last but not least, here I am painting the deck fence. Would someone buy our house so I can stop with the around-the-house projects?

Nice day, bad gutters

I was amazed at the crud that had collected in the gutters. No wonder the rain cascaded off the roof. It certainly couldn't flow through the gutters. Let's hope next time it rains, the water actually goes into the downspouts.
My shirt and pants are wet, my shoes are wet, I've got gutter slop sticking to my arm - I'm clearly a fashion statement!

What is that yellow orb in the sky?

Oh. It's the sun. We got 3.95" of rain in the gauge yesterday. Today it's sunny. Go figure.

Oh boy. More rain.

I know, I know. We need the rain. Another 1.7" overnight and it's still raining.
