I am a hockey buff ... who knew?
We've attended some hockey games at Hobart Arena. The Silver Sticks tournament was held on Dec. 1-2 and 8-9. Our nephew Ryan and his wife Tanja accompanied us on Dec. 8. We all aspire to be Zamboni drivers.

You sound like you are having a fantastic time in Ohio. We all miss you here in SLO, but have to admit that retirement suits you both!
Thanks, Cyndee. It's hard to watch hockey in SLO, so it's nice to find a new sport that involves ice. We haven't had much ice outside yet - most days the temperature rises well above freezing and any ice melts. But January has arrived yet! :)
You are not alone in your dream of driving the Zamboni. I have two other friends that would love to call that their daily job. What is it about those big crazy vehicles?
